I am so excited to wear bold lip colors this Fall. I wear lip color year round but I usually stick to nudes, peaches, corals and pinks in the warmer months. Every September I incorporate my wine hued favorites and shop for any new ones that spark my interest. I literally discovered these Wet n wild shades from a friend three days ago and I’m hooked! In this particular post I will focus on my favorite 5 reds. A crimson kiss looks great on all skin tones and works any time of day or night. With this bold lip I do go light on my eye makeup during the day to keep a nice balance and I save the “crazy” eye for the evening i.e.. heavy on the shadow and or eyeliner etc.
My favorite 5.
Red can be scary at first but just try it on at the makeup counter, they will always let you sample some (make sure they shave the top layer off first, they are used to this request)
New to the whole red lip look? Start with a sheer coverage like the Givenchy, it’s slightly pearlescent and lightly tints the lips.
Want to dive right into the red? Then the other 4 choices below are for you. They are true to tube color providing pigment rich intense color payoff, yes even the dollar ones are amazing! I promise!

I see you blogging about the givenchy I gave you! So pretty!!
YES my little makeup insider:) I love it!
Hey
i’ve always wanted to wear bright lip colors but have never known what colors to buty. do you think a darker skin tone could get away with wear the color you suggested for a medium skin tone?
thank you in advance 🙂
yes these colors would look great on darker skin tones as well. I added the fair swatch to show how the oranges show up more on lighter skin, but these colors work especially well with medium to dark skin tones.
