Coach Goes Back To Basics

Coach has returned to its roots with their highly anticipated fall 2012 Legacy Collection .   Complete with tassels and turn locks the timeless collection is retro inspired from the coach archives, revamped with modern touches.  The (Nearly logo free) collection includes everything from shoes to trenches to wallets and handbags.  The handbags vary from slouchy to structured and come in every color  and silhouette imaginable.   Last year Coach reissued some classic bags and they were a huge success!  If that’s any hint, this collection should be flying off the shelves in no time!  I think going back to the type of bags that originally landed them with a huge fan base is the best thing Coach could have ever done, they really went a little “C” crazy for a while there didn’t they?  The collection is currently available online and has begun trickling into stores. The complete collection will be available in stores August 1st. Prices range from $50-$1,000 with handbags starting at $178. Shop online now at Coach.

Love this Clutch!

I can’t get enough of this House of Harlow 1960 minaudiere clutch. It is the perfect size for nights out or to wear on a Summer day when you just need to carry the essentials. It also has a removable chain that can be tucked into the clutch.

Billboard Awards Best Dressed!

Last night celebrities flocked to sin city for the 2012 Billboard Music Awards. I was super excited to see all the looks but was left wanting more *:( total sad face. I did, however manage to find 3 looks that I loved.

Carrie Underwood wore a grey and rose strapless Oscar de La Renta gown with a giant tulle skirt. I must admit I think her look was completely out of place  for these awards BUT she looked GORGEOUS and her hair and makeup was perfect. If I could snap my fingers, she would have worn this to the Oscars instead.

I loved her fun Oscar De La Renta clutch and her undone nails as well The colorful clutch and that canary sparkler were enough dont’cha think?

Taylor swift wore a beautiful red Elie Saab gown, total understated elegance. I liked the fact that she switched up the hair for the evening, swapping her trademark curls for a sleeker look.

My best dressed of the night goes to Alicia Keys. She wore a simple black body con Azzedine Alaia dress and let her jewelry do the talking. She was impeccably accessorized in a cool multi ring earcuff by Repossi and a hand piece by Jennifer Fisher. I also loved her red lip with minimal eye makeup and matching nails! So chic!

If you’re loving this earcuff, but not loving the $5,000 price tag, Asos has a similar earcuff for less than $14.

Her casual luxury accessories are edgy, yet girly and fun!  I boiled over at the discovery of her “my diet starts tomorrow” pouch….. How cute is that? My new Favorite Bag

I can’t stop wearing this fringe bag! It’s fun, a perfect size to use daily and is such a great color that matches most anything. I own two other white bags, a Versace hobo and a Bottega Veneta clutch but when I wear those I gotta be honest, I worry  that they’ll get dirty and with a bag this affordable there are NO worries at all! I included this bag in a fringe post that I did a while back but after much use…..I’ve decided it’s my favorite bag…..until the next one comes along;)  So far I’ve worn it with  a t-shirt and jeans and some Spring dresses . I usually wear it with the shoulder strap, but I have recently tucked the strap in the bag and have worn it as an oversized day clutch, SO CUTE! I also realized when I wear it as a clutch, it looks quite similar to the Linea Pelle bag pictured right which retails for about $330. This bag is $24.99!!!!!!!! and available at Target. Show your Stripes

Okay okay I’m giving in and doing a post on stripes.  I feel like stripes are such a “normal” print that every wardrobe contains but then I thought to myself, if people already wear stripes they probably want more and for those who are a bit scared of stripes they need some cute stripe inspiration…..SO without further ado ……..STRIPES and I’m talking CUTE stripes!  P.S. stripes in ALL directions can be flattering, my only advice is to try stripes on.
