Pantyhose that don’t run or rip? YES!

6 Mar

When I think of pantyhose, the first thing that comes to mind, are rips and runs. I have never owned a pair that didn’t eventually get a run in them or holes- I feel like it’s inevitable, because they’re so delicate. UNTIL NOW! Sheertex is changing the pantyhose game!  Yesterday I wore mine all day and you better believe I was pulling on them to see if the claims were true. I was literally trying to tear them and nothing was happening, I also tried poking my finger through them and… nothing. They held up and are seriously strong! Another great thing about these pantyhose is the sustainability factor, most pantyhose usually last 1-3 wears before they rip, tear or run and you have to buy more. With Sheertex, they last so long that you’re saving precious landfill space and money. WIN WIN!

There are many different sheertex color and size options to choose from, I chose the polka dot version.

There are a different styles of head scarves and my favorite is the block twist style. I’ve found that Asos has a huge assortment under $20. I don’t really want to spend more than that on a head scarf. Here are some cute prints that they have at the moment. Happy shopping.

Sweater Weather

29 Oct

I love cozy sweaters during Fall and Winter, and wear them differently depending on the temp outside. I recently found a sweater that can go from day to night and cool to cold! This boatneck sweater is warm enough to wear alone, but thin enough to layer under a jacket. It’s comes in so many colors and is under $40 at Old Navy.  I bought the camel color, what color will you buy?

Holy Grail Strapless Bra!

17 Jul

Happy Summer! Also known as strapless bra season. I recently heard about an amazing strapless bra and had to try it for myself. Strapless bras are hard to shop for when you have a large chest. They roll up on your back, you spill out of them, or they just don’t hold you up.

It’s frustrating and frankly makes me not even want to buy dresses that need a strapless bra. Until now!! A company that I’ve never even heard of came through with the best strapless bra I’ve ever worn. The bra is by Soma intimates, they also have panties, pjs etc. The bra is called the vanishing strapless bra and it retails for $62. (Which is a not bad for a bra that will last 5 plus years) Sometimes it does go on sale so keep an eye out. I scored mine at their semi annual sale! I put mine to the test last week on date night (pictured below) and it didn’t disappoint. Click HERE to shop for your own strapless bra at Soma.                                        Also, they have the BEST lace thongs 6 for $36!

My Favorite Winter Boots!

22 Jan

We just returned from our winter vacation in the mountains and I got so many questions about my boots. Not only are they stylish, but they’re really warm! I had always wanted Sorel boots, so last winter I figured it was time to make the purchase for our Aspen trip. They kept our feet warm in single digit temps!!! Nina got the brown color and I got the ivory color which is called “Fawn”. I highly recommend them, especially if you’re considering Uggs. Uggs are cozy and warm, but they don’t have traction for icy conditions. Sorel boots are made for harsh weather.

Wrap yourself in Holiday Magic! (under $30)

19 Dec

I’ve been wanting a holiday cape for quite some time. They’re cute, comfy, and super festive. The only con when purchasing a holiday cape is that they will be worn for a limited amount of time. So for me, it never felt right to spend a lot of money on a holiday cape. Hence, why I never had one.

I recently found so many affordable capes on She in.  I chose a red plaid cape with gold button detail and already have an outfit planned for it! If you’re looking for a year round cape or a holiday cape, you should definitely check out She in.
