I’ve been a busy bee for the last 8 months watching my vision come to fruition and starting a jewelry business from the ground up! My website Love and gold Jewelry launched August 1st and I’m beyond grateful for the warm welcome as I step into the world of Demi- Fine jewelry. If you’ve been following my blog, then you already know I’m an avid jewelry collector. I have solid gold to costume jewelry and everything in between, so when brainstorming my brand I knew I wanted to provide quality jewelry AND fair prices, which is why I chose to only use gold filled and sterling silver. Demi-Fine jewelry is the sweet spot where quality and affordability marry.
What is gold filled jewelry? Gold filled consists of a thick layer of gold (we use 14k and 18k gold )that has been bonded through heat to a core metal (we use jewelers brass). Think of it like an ice cream sandwich- with ice cream in the middle being the brass and the cookie on both sides being the gold. Gold filled jewelry is great for sensitive skin. With its thick, resilient outer layer of gold, it ensures that your skin is only exposed to actual gold. With a little care, gold filled jewelry can last many years. It’s an amazing alternative to solid gold. It looks like gold, wears like gold, is hypoallergenic like gold, without the price tag of gold
From the designs, to the packaging, to partnering with skilled artisans and manufacturers to creating a website ( which was really HARD) I’ve poured my heart along with some sweat and tears into this brand and am thrilled with the outcome and how it’s been received as well. I was recently introduced to 90 degree by Reflexleggings from my friend Nicole (Nicole Cripe Style). I have plenty of leggings and figured I didn’t need another pair, until I saw the price. They were $20!!! So I gave them a try and figured I could return them if they didn’t work out. Turns out, they’re AMAZING! I read the reviews and noticed a lot of comments saying that they ran small, so I ordered a size larger than normal and they fit perfectly. They’re not see through and are so flattering and the high waist band is smooth and doesn’t roll down. I can’t stop wearing them and am going to order a second pair, with the side pocket for my phone. I am beyond happy with these leggings.

You read that right!! I have stumbled upon the most comfortable bralette EVER! I was at Target and decided to buy a new braletteto sleep in.During this time of the Covid pandemic the fitting rooms are closed, so I took a chance and bought it. I figured I could always return it if it didn’t fit. Well, no need for a return because it fit perfectly! So much that I immediately went online to buy a second color. It has the look of a seamless sports bra, and a barely-there feel. It also doesn’t roll up or bulge in the back, it’s just smooth. This bralette takes comfort to the next level. I highly suggest it. I love cozy sweaters during Fall and Winter, and wear them differently depending on the temp outside. I recently found a sweater that can go from day to night and cool to cold! I’ve been wanting a holiday cape for quite some time. They’re cute, comfy, and super festive. The only con when purchasing a holiday cape is that they will be worn for a limited amount of time. So for me, it never felt right to spend a lot of money on a holiday cape. Hence, why I never had one.

I always bring my favorite jewelry pieces with me when I travel and I’ve had the same travel jewelry box forever and it’s worn out. As I was Black Friday shopping in my pajamas, I came across this super cute and affordable jewelry box. It comes in a variety of colors, has plenty of storage while still being small enough to pack or bring in a purse, and it looks very expensive! I ordered the pink of course and can’t wait to take my next trip with this pretty box.
