Quilted handbags have been around for quite awhile and are the perfect timeless style to include in your handbag collection. The beauty about quilted bags is that they can be worn with anything from an evening dress to a t-shirt and ripped jeans. Every designer has their own take on the quilted bag with Chanel being the most recognized. Just in case you’ve been living under a rock- you can’t get your hands on a Chanel bag for less than $1500 and that’s the LOW END. That brings me to the entire point of this post; Most people would love a Chanel bag yet most people could never afford one- and there aren’t too many great options for a well made quilted bag without going bankrupt in the process… UNTIL NOW- Rebecca Minkoff has outdone herself with the Quilted Love Bag!!! These bags are so well made and are priced at $295 for the standard size and $195 for the mini. Not exactly cheap but totally doable!!! They look and feel like a million bucks and are available in an array of colors and hardware options. I have one in the standard size. I love it and highly recommend it!
The Quilted Love bag can be worn with the chain long for cross body wear, with the chain doubled for shoulder wear or worn without the chain as a clutch! Who doesn’t love options??!!!! I also love how these bags have an outside pocket for phone or keys!
I have been wearing my hinged glider bracelets for a couple of years now. I purchased the rose gold toned one from H&M and the gold tone one from Nordstrom.
Sadly, they have both since sold out but I still get plenty of questions about them and I’ve come across some very similar versions by Madewell that are affordable.

This weekend’s weather is typical for August in Los Angeles-sunny and bright. Warm weather calls for dresses around these parts, so my outfit of the day included the cutest striped dress(with pockets) and rose gold accessories. My makeup was peachy pink minimal and my hair was up with braided detail in a low bun. My statement necklace was balanced out with bangles on one wrist and dainty rings.
OOTD Details:
The clutch(Gap) and heels(Zara) sold out quickly but the striped dress with bow belt (Maison Jules) is available still!!!! Maison Jules is one of my favorite new lines sold at Macy’s- their parisian chic pieces are so adorable!!!! Necklace- Forever21. Rings- Catbird, Threadbare & Baguette ring. Bangles- Aldo.
Makeup Details: Face- Bare minerals Foundation. Mascara- Maybelline Clump crusher in very black. Blush- Bobbi Brown in coral. Lips- NYX Butter gloss in Creme Brûlée.
How cute are these flats??!!!!! I saw them on Lulus.com and had to have them! They were only $23 which made it even sweeter, but as I clicked to buy them- SOLD OUT appeared on my computer screen. Noooooooooo! I was so sad. I quickly noted the brand and style name and began my hunt. I found them at Shiekh for even less- $19.99. Never give up ladies! Never give up!
I found the perfect fall bootie and they’re under $35!!!!!!!! They fit great and are comfy tooooo! Skaist Taylor is building a following…….fast! The “California eccentric” collection brought to us by the LA based designers who gave us Juicy Couture in 1996, is making major fashion waves. The team has since sold Juicy Couture to Liz Claiborne Corp. and have dived right into the Skaist Taylor line. Pamela Skaist- Levy and Gela Nash- Taylor launched the boho- chic line during new York Fashion Week this past Spring to rave reviews. Don’t worry there will be no tracksuits this time around! Remember wearing those everywhere?????? I admit I must have a dozen tracksuits lying around and still wear them to lounge in the house, I was a bonified “Juicy” girl…. But there comes a time for every fashion “moment” to move on though and this is that time for Pamela & Gela!
