Former Coach creative director Reed Krakoff has designed a collection for Kohl’s that will be completely accessable to the masses. The designer, whose signature collection included handbags priced in the $1,000 to $3,000 range, has created the limited-edition Reed for Kohl’s collection, priced between $15 to $129. Krakoff calls the line “the new accessible luxury” and the designer will feature his signature handbag shapes and prints in the affordable new collection. If you follow me on any social media platform, it is no secret that I have a small obsession with Giles & Brother railroad spike bracelets. I have so many styles of jewelry that I wear from dainty to colorful to bold, but my all time love would be modern/minimal pieces. The Giles & Brother railroad spikes are super minimal with a bit of edge. The railroad spikes come in three sizes Original(thick) Skinny(medium)and Mini(thin) my preference has always been the “skinny”size but I recently ordered the mini and I love it, it’s super dainty and delicate. How could these bracelets possibly get any better you ask???? Well, they are now available in precious metals!!! YES!!!! If you’re a jewelry connoisseur you can rock a SOLID GOLD G&B bracelet!!! Quilted handbags have been around for quite awhile and are the perfect timeless style to include in your handbag collection. The beauty about quilted bags is that they can be worn with anything from an evening dress to a t-shirt and ripped jeans. Every designer has their own take on the quilted bag with Chanel being the most recognized. Just in case you’ve been living under a rock- you can’t get your hands on a Chanel bag for less than $1500 and that’s the LOW END. That brings me to the entire point of this post; Most people would love a Chanel bag yet most people could never afford one- and there aren’t too many great options for a well made quilted bag without going bankrupt in the process… UNTIL NOW- Rebecca Minkoff has outdone herself with the Quilted Love Bag!!! These bags are so well made and are priced at $295 for the standard size and $195 for the mini. Not exactly cheap but totally doable!!! They look and feel like a million bucks and are available in an array of colors and hardware options. I have one in the standard size. I love it and highly recommend it!
The Quilted Love bag can be worn with the chain long for cross body wear, with the chain doubled for shoulder wear or worn without the chain as a clutch! Who doesn’t love options??!!!! I also love how these bags have an outside pocket for phone or keys!

Phillip Lim’s Pashli bag has been a HUGE success among fashion bloggers and bag loving ladies for some time now and the mini version is just as popular. The original Pashli bag retails for upwards of $895 while the mini starts at $695 depending on what material you choose. When Lim collaborated with Target last year and designed a similar version of the coveted bag at a fraction of the price, fashionistas lined up to get their hands on the affordable version and it quickly sold out. Since then, there have been quite a few similar versions but I must say, this Forever 21 version made me look TWICE and it retails for less than $25!!!!! Check it out!

Milan Fashion Week has kicked off with a bang and the Gucci Fall/Winter 2014 collection has set the bar pretty high! Frida Giannini definitely brought it!!!!!! She channeled the “good ol’ Gucci” days with a 60’s/70’s inspired collection that included mod minis and boots galore! There was no lack of pretty pastels and the sharp tailoring we have come to expect from the Italian design house!! I really love this collection!

Today the highly anticipated Phillip Lim for Target collaboration launched!! Target stores in my area opened at 8 am and they all had lines. I got my magazine, chair and bottled water and headed to my local Target, I arrived at 6:45am and I was the FIRST in line!!! Wooohhoooooo! Needless to say, I was able to get both of the bags that I wanted! Everything was going smooth until the bags ran out, the workers came with more on carts and that’s when the stampede started, people were pushing and shoving their way to the cart before they could even restock the shelf! After that, the bags were gone – only five minutes had passed! By the time I left there was still a good amount of clothes left and I hope everyone got what they wanted! As a shoe and bag LOVER, I will go on record and say this is my favorite collab since Jimmy Choo for H&M! Until the next collaboration!!!!
