Bucket List!

I recently received my Mansur Gavriel bucket bag after almost two years of waiting. I’ve been wanting this bucket bag for a while and really love the black/flamma combination, which is lined in red leather. I love how simple the design is with a fun pop of color. The bags are highly coveted and made in Italy in small batches which is why they sell out SO FAST! I am totally obsessed with my new bag and wanted to share it with you along with an affordable alternative.

Look For Less!

Phillip Lim’s Pashli bag has been a HUGE success among fashion bloggers and bag loving ladies for some time now and the mini version is just as popular. The original Pashli bag retails for upwards of $895  while the mini starts at $695  depending on what material you choose. When Lim collaborated with Target last year and designed a similar version of the coveted bag at a fraction of the price, fashionistas lined up to get their hands on the affordable version and it quickly sold out. Since then, there have been quite a few similar versions but I must say, this Forever 21 version made me look TWICE and it retails for less than $25!!!!! Check it out!

Look For Less!

These knee-high Stuart Weitzman gladiator sandals have been all the rage this Spring.  I gave them some serious thought, but for something that was outside of my fashion box, the price wasn’t worth it for me, UNTIL last week when I scrolled across my blogger buddy’s Instagram page (Amy’s Vintage closet)and saw her wearing what I thought to be Stuart Weitzman sandals, but NOOOOOOO they were super affordable alternatives. I immediately started my search and found them too!!!!! They arrived on my porch TODAY and they look the SAME as the $400 pair!  At $32 I was totally willing to try knee-high gladiators! My Favorite Bright Pink Lipstick!

I’ve been rockin’ a bright Barbie pink pout all summer long and I love it!!!!  (I’m wearing it in my last post if you haven’t seen the color yet) I have gotten so many inquiries about my pink lips lately and thought I’d share the details with ya’ll!  My lipstick of choice is  a MAC shade by the name of Candy yum yum! It’s very bright and so much fun to wear! It is available at MAC for $15.

Another Target Collaboration Announced!

Target is at it again, today they announced their upcoming high fashion collaboration with New York City designer Phillip Lim. Unfortunately we won’t be able to shop this collection until September, but I do think it’s worth the wait. This collaboration strikes me as a little different from its predecessors in the way that the design aesthetic is almost identical to Lim’s full priced designs, really giving the frugal fashionista the chance to get a true taste of the Lim’s designs. The collections, one for men and one for women, will be priced at $19.99-$299.99(for a leather jacket) although most items will be in the $19.99-$75 range. The most exciting part is that all the Bags are  priced at $60 or less!  The 100+ piece collection, 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target launches online and in target stores September 15.

Check out the $35 yellow tote offered in the target collection pictured below that is so similar to the ‘Pashli’ satchels that retail for $650-$825!!!  This, my friends is a collaboration worth getting excited over!
