My Bedroom Makeover!
7 DecI’ve been wanting a tufted bed for a couple of years now and was unsure if I should just get a headboard or an entire bed frame. After shopping around, I decided to go with the entire bed frame SINCE IT WAS SO AFFORDABLE at Target! Once I purchased the bed frame, I went ahead and got two bedside tables as well. When the beautiful bed arrived and I felt weird just throwing my old mattress on there, soooooo I bought a new mattress and box spring at living Spaces. The new bed pretty much snowballed into practically all new bedroom furniture and accessories…. Once the complete bed was set up the night stands arrived, I needed lamps and cute decor so off I went to Lamps plus, Z Gallerie, Macy’s and Home Goods. Fast forward 2 weeks and my bedroom makeover is complete. I am so happy with it and wanted to share where I purchased everything from since most of them were BARGAINS! Minus the bedding- I went a little “fancy” with the bedding.
Anyhow, let’s get into the good stuff….places to purchase and prices.
Tufted Bed: $400!!!! YES for the entire bed! That is cheaper than most headboards alone. (took 2 hours for 2 people to put together)
Night Stands: $139 each (took 1 hour for 1 person to put together)
Lamps: $35 each Yes $70 for 2 gorgeous lamps. I chose 19″ lamps because my bedside tables are tall and I didn’t want the lamps to be taller than the headboard.

Fancy knobs: 2 for $7!! This was a great way to elevate the look of my nightstands. they came with black knobs, so I chose crystal knobs with gold base. Very pretty.

I originally found a great deal on a lookalike pair from torrid, but they sold out super fast and left many fashionistas sad:( If you saw that look for less post and were left wanting a pair of your own rock stud lookalikes for less…..I have found MORE!!!!!! They are priced at $69 vs. $895+ for Valentino. If you’ve always wanted rock studs but could never afford them, now is the time to treat yourself!

30 JunI love a good nude lip color. I also love a great deal as most of you know! Today I’m sharing my 2 go-to nude lip pies, one is a gloss and one is a lip balm- BOTH are less than $5!
Maybelline Baby Lips in Peach Kiss.
This peach scented and slightly shimmery lip balm is perfect for everyday. Has the feel of chapstick with a nude/ peachy tint. Very hydrating as well!
NYX Butter gloss in Creme Brulee.
This silky smooth butter lip gloss lives up to its name! It glides on like butter and actually stays put! It is also no secret that this lip gloss is a dupe for many high-end lippies including NARS and Lorac.

23 AprThese knee-high Stuart Weitzman gladiator sandals have been all the rage this Spring. I gave them some serious thought, but for something that was outside of my fashion box, the price wasn’t worth it for me, UNTIL last week when I scrolled across my blogger buddy’s Instagram page (Amy’s Vintage closet)and saw her wearing what I thought to be Stuart Weitzman sandals, but NOOOOOOO they were super affordable alternatives. I immediately started my search and found them too!!!!! They arrived on my porch TODAY and they look the SAME as the $400 pair! At $32 I was totally willing to try knee-high gladiators! 7 MarHappy Friday everyone!!!!!! This week’s find is from Etsy- I have found so many cute pieces on Etsy over the years! I’ve been looking for a scrabble necklace for a while now and I’ve found it! Such a fun necklace! The necklace comes on a long beaded chain that can be cut to size. I cut mine to 16 ” which is usually the size I like. Happy shopping and have a great weekend!
