I’ve been wanting a holiday cape for quite some time. They’re cute, comfy, and super festive. The only con when purchasing a holiday cape is that they will be worn for a limited amount of time. So for me, it never felt right to spend a lot of money on a holiday cape. Hence, why I never had one.

Let’s be honest, some of us are “pink girls” and some of us aren’t. Whether or not pink is your thing, you need pink suede pumps! Let me tell you why. First of all, you can wear pink suede pumps with pretty much anything and they look especially amazing with pants. If you think pink is too girly, you can pair pink pumps with ripped jeans or an all black ensemble to off set the girly vibe and go for more of an edgy look. If you can’t find a shoe to match your outfit, throw on pink….believe it or not, it matches everything. I’m starting to think that pink is a neutral, LOL! Lastly, pink can be LOUD, but the classic silhouette of a pointed toe and the rich suede texture bring the perfect balance to the heel. The bottom line is pink heels look great on everyone, and you need some!

The global fashion party known as fashion’s night out celebrated its fourth year last night. From Los Angeles to New york to Milan fashionistas, retailers and designers came together for the festivities. Besides shopping and socializing, crowds were treated to fashion shows, performances and parades. I celebrated in Los Angeles at the Beverly Center and the “lil Melrose” area of West Hollywood and had an absolute blast! Here are some pictures from the night.
Let’s just start by saying my feet were killing me by the end of the night but it was so worth it. I also keep getting questions about the dress. I was obsessed with this dress when I saw SJP wearing it on the Elle Jan 2011 cover
apparently I wasn’t the only one interested as the dress sold out FAST! I told my favorite Saks girl to keep an eye out for me and sure enough a dress in my size was found about 6 months later!!!!!!!!! So that’s the story of the dress….
