My New Favorite Ankle Zip Skinny Jeans!!!!! (under$30)

Hi loves……quite a few of you have inquired about my black skinny jeans with ankle zippers that I’ve been wearing lately ( for 4 days straight actually).  I’m here to tell you that they are AFFORDABLE!!!!!! and they fit amazing! For those of you that haven’t seen them, they are the blackest black and have a great silver zippered ankle detail.  They are super stretchy and maintain their shape throughout an entire night of walking and dancing might I add!  They are priced at a very reasonable $29.99 and are available at Target!  I always shop for clothes at Target, and last Friday these cute pants caught my eye….. Once I made sure they were free of logos (I love plain jeans, even my favorite designer jeans are J brand because they are logo free), I thought I try them on.  They fit like a glove, are comfortable and so cute.  All of you should run to target and pick some up or order HERE.  They are also perfectly skinny enough to tuck into all your Fall/Winter boots!

Don’t be fooled by the sneakers paired with the pants in these pictures. They can be really dressed up with heels, I promise!  Focus on the FIT of the pants!

Fashion’s Night Out Was A Hit!

The global fashion party known as fashion’s night out celebrated its fourth year last night. From Los Angeles to New york to Milan fashionistas, retailers and designers came together for the festivities.  Besides shopping and socializing, crowds were treated to fashion shows, performances and parades.  I celebrated in Los Angeles at the Beverly Center and the “lil Melrose” area of West Hollywood and had an absolute blast! Here are some pictures from the night.

 

 

 

Let’s just start by saying my feet were killing me by the end of the night but it was so worth it.  I also keep getting questions about the dress. I was obsessed with this dress when I saw SJP wearing it on the Elle Jan 2011 coverapparently I wasn’t the only one interested as the dress sold out FAST!  I told my favorite Saks girl to keep an eye out for me and sure enough a dress in my size was found about 6 months later!!!!!!!!!  So that’s the story of the dress….

 

Outfit details:

I had to embrace this white paper wristband, it was my ticket into the nights events, even though it completely clashed with my ensemble.

Christian Louboutin Creates Cinderella’s Slipper

Christian Louboutin and Disney have come together to create a real life version of Cinderella’s glass slippers Quite possibly the most memorable shoe in fairy tale history  to celebrate the re-release of the iconic Disney film.  Made of crystal adorned lace for the look of transparency and no shortage of sparkles, the shoe complete with red sole will not be available for mass sale, there will however be a giveaway of 20 pairs this fall.  Disney and Louboutin will release details of the giveaway on august 17.  20 lucky ladies will see their fairy tail dreams come to life!!!!!

Blake Lively’s Sartorial Splendor

Blake Lively is never short on style, she is hands down one my top 5 style crushes of all time!  Her sense of style is amazing and all her own no stylist on her payroll.  Lively’s stunning style has been front and center  during the premiere/promotional tour for her upcoming film Savages. Here are my favorite looks so far and I look forward to what she will wear next. I can’t get enough!!!!!!

Yellow Gucci halter maxi dress with bold turquoise jewelry.

Channeling old hollywood in a nude silk and tulle gown with intricate black beading by Zuhair Murad. I love how she let the dress do all the talking with minimal jewelry and no handbag. Crimson on the lip and nails looks perfect.

Red Michael Kors pant suit paired with a sleek black tank and Christian Louboutin caged heels. Sleeves cuffed messy….love it!
