Fashion’s Night Out Was A Hit!
7 SepThe global fashion party known as fashion’s night out celebrated its fourth year last night. From Los Angeles to New york to Milan fashionistas, retailers and designers came together for the festivities. Besides shopping and socializing, crowds were treated to fashion shows, performances and parades. I celebrated in Los Angeles at the Beverly Center and the “lil Melrose” area of West Hollywood and had an absolute blast! Here are some pictures from the night.
Let’s just start by saying my feet were killing me by the end of the night but it was so worth it. I also keep getting questions about the dress. I was obsessed with this dress when I saw SJP wearing it on the Elle Jan 2011 cover
apparently I wasn’t the only one interested as the dress sold out FAST! I told my favorite Saks girl to keep an eye out for me and sure enough a dress in my size was found about 6 months later!!!!!!!!! So that’s the story of the dress….

I had to embrace this white paper wristband, it was my ticket into the nights events, even though it completely clashed with my ensemble.

The New ‘It’ Bag?

Additional thoughts…….. Does this bag have the ‘it’ factor? Absolutely! My favorite part of this bag is the beautiful shape and the flap in front. My least favorite part of this bag….the flap in front…which makes the contents of the bag impossible to access when it’s on your arm. A bit impractical a la Hermès Birkin, beautiful nonetheless.
Crazy for Clutches (Splurges)
22 FebClutches may be small, but they can make a HUGE impact on your look. Clutches are my favorite accessory, I’m kinda obsessed actually. They transition from day to evening easily and come in a variety of sizes so you don’t have to worry about limited space. Clutches are a perfect way to experiment with a color or material you would never wear and still feel comfortable. If you want to try the latest neon trend, start with a clutch. Spikes, studs, animal prints and wild colors are doable when they’re a clutch. London Fashion Week Hit With Burberry Showers
21 FebLondon fashion week is in full swing and definitely peeked Monday with the blockbuster show presented by Burberry Prorsom . Christopher Bailey surpassed my expectations with the traditional english theme. There were plenty of riding jackets, as well as wool and tweed in muted and earthy colors. There was no shortage of feminine detail. Studded gloves, belts and bows were everywhere:) There were also quite a few different (but totally cute)takes on the trench coat Burberry is famous for. It was the most entertaining show thus far complete with clear confetti “rain” and a finale of umbrella toting models on the catwalk. I loved this show!!!
