The Two Must Have Colors For 2013!!!
22 JanWhat are the “it” colors for 2013????? I can’t choose just one! The two colors that I won’t be able to live without are Emerald and Lilac!!!! So many of my favorite fashion moments have included at least one of these colors , if not both! Emerald has always been a go to color in my wardrobe but I’m really making room for lilac this year and am very excited about it. If you’re not big into color you can start by adding a shoe or clutch to your outfit or adding these colors into your makeup regimen. If you love color, go crazy with it- The more the merrier!

Find your Perfect Purple
18 AprOf all the colors in the rainbow, besides neutrals I think purple is the most wearable shade when it comes to eyeshadow. It’s not as girly as pink yet not as risky as blue. I have brown eyes and wear all eyeshadow colors but I love the way purple looks most. From lavender to lilac and plum to eggplant, purple shades flatter all eye colors. You can go for a single shade look or smoke it out, the possibilities are endless! I really don’t believe in makeup rules but I know there are definitely pairings that look better than others. Here are some complimentary color combinations depending on your eyes.
Brown eyes: look beautiful with warmer purples and accented with bronzes and golds.
Blue eyes: look so pretty with cooler shades of purple and accented with greys.
Green eyes: Green eyes look absolutely amazing with ANY shade of purple and especially with eggplant and plum tones. Green eyes and purple shadows are a pair made in heaven. The color combination really POPS!
Remember these are combinations that work for sure, but any shade of purple may look gorgeous on you no matter what your eye color, so TRY shadows on! you never know until you do.
Here are some pictures of purples on many different eye colors and shapes; different skin tones as well.
