Kimono Style! (Take 2)

Last Spring I wrote a Kimono Style post sharing my love for the light and airy pieces.  This year the kimono is going to be HUGE, I’ve been trying to tell the world for the last year and people are catching on! Last year’s post is getting so much traffic but most of the links are sold out since it’s been so long. I’ve decided to do today’s post and include shoppable links to plenty of kimonos that are available NOW! Floral Jeans

As the proud new owner of floral jeans I wanted to do a post that would inspire you to get a pair as well.  I did have floral jeans as a kid but this is my first pair in my adulthood.  Floral is so fun and they come in many color combos from grey to brights to colorful pastels, it’s up to you.  I purchased a grey Current/Elliott pair(#4 below), yes I was bold enough for the print but not bold enough for color…..baby steps!  I wore mine with a white v neck and pink sandals and plan to wear them into Fall with bold blues and blacks.  As far as shoes, they look great with sandals, flats, wedges and heels! When wearing floral jeans, my only advice is to pair them with solid pieces so that the jeans are on a stage of their own.  Below are some ideas on how to wear them and also some pairs to shop. They can be dressed up or down and are perfect for wear all Summer long and well into Fall *on cooler nights just add a cute cropped jacket or cardigan to complete the look without taking away from the dress. Don’t be afraid of public nudity! Wearing nudes and Beiges is a great way to wear a neutral other than white. I love wearing nude with black heels and accessories. Nudes can also be worn with bright accessories like teals and pinks. If your more of a safe dressed gal, you can opt for the monochromatic look of head to toe nude with neutral accessories, it  looks really pretty. As far as nude heels, if you follow this blog you know they are a STAPLE in my wardrobe and I love all nude heels! They really do match everything and elongate your legs so buy nude heels asap and you’ll never say ‘what shoe should I wear’ because your nude heel will bring any outfit together.
