10 FebMonique Lhuillier’s gorgeous Fall/Winter 2013 collection consisted mostly of her usual red carpet ready gowns in addition to some shorter tea length gowns and even included trousers! The palette was mostly malachite green, winter white and black & gold baroque style pieces. The entire collection was decadently detailed and beautifully tailored to the woman’s form. Beautiful!
Paris Couture Fashion Week 2013
24 JanWith Paris couture fashion week coming to an end today, I must admit I feel like I’ve watched a fairy tale unfold before my eyes. This particular fashion week which solely concentrates on haute couture pieces from fashion designers around the world, is my favorite of all fashion weeks. I look forward to the opulent, magical, detailed pieces that come down those Parisian runways. These are the most beautiful creations in the fashion industry all in one place; all in one week (4 days technically). The craftsmanship is absolutely impeccable as the designers pull out all the stops to see their “dream” creations come to light. One of these dresses can take over 2,000 hours of work to create. While many designers showcased their collections, I had four favorites- Valentino, Elie Saab, Giambattista Valli and Zuhair Murad. These designers lived up to my ultimate fashion dreams of Paris couture fashion week! Just beautiful!!!!!

Kaley Cuoco- This beautifully tailored gown is so feminine and pretty and I love her unexpected dark lip and matching manicure.
Helen Mirran- She looks pretty amazing in this figure flattering black and gold number
Jennifer Garner- I love this beautiful strapless scarlett sparkler on her
Kerry Washington- This nude and sheer dress is so pretty with such gorgeous detail throughout

Kate Hudson in a show stopping embellished Alexander McQueen gown and fresh faced makeup!!!!! I have no words! AMAZING! That neckline, that flash of skin, that belted waist!!!!! This dress IS EVERYTHING!!!!!!!

2012 Met Gala to be streamed LIVE!
26 AprMark your fashion calendars NOW! The event known as the “east coast Oscars” is fast approaching. This is literally dress up night for any and everything fashion. The extravagant Costume Institute Benefit Gala will take place on May 7th and will be streamed LIVE for the first time EVER! You can watch it on Americanvogue.com, Amazon.com or Metmuseum.org. The red carpet arrivals will be aired at 6:30 pm EST 11:30pm GMT and 3:30 pm PST. Model Elettra Wiedemann and Vogue’s William Norwich will host the 2 hour red carpet event. The guest list will rival that of the Oscars including designers, models, actors and the who’s who of fashion industry insiders attending. The annual Met Gala celebrates an event each year, this year the festivities will mark the upcoming opening of the Metropolitan Museum of art’s Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada exhibit which will open to the public on May 10th and run until August 19th. If you’ll be in the NY area during these dates, this is a MUST SEE!
