Rachel Zoe Spring/Summer 2013 collection.
Inspired by the 70’s and Jane Birkin’s androgynous aesthetic, this collection was the epitome of sexy cool. Â Effortless glam came to mind over and over. Â The palette included beautiful teals, mints as well as neutrals and black & white combos. Â The accessories were pretty amazing as well…… I loved the bags, hats and necklaces, very reminiscent of the Halston era, which I love!

Vera Wang Ready to wear Spring/Summer 2013 collection.
With an “out of india” theme, this collection was a hit! Â There was a beautiful palette of colors including rich greens, purples and gold. Shapes ranged from structured to fluid and much attention was paid to detail( no shocker, Vera is a perfectionist). Â I also loved all the use of chantilly hand pieced lace, so pretty.

I love kimono style tops, in particular kimono style silky or sheer “cardigans”. I love the open and airy feel they have and how they can be worn as a light jacket and are layerable in warm Summer months. I Â love the drapey soft and feminine silhouette of these tops and I have included some of my favorite styles to shop below. These can be worn with a plain tank top or T shirt and jeans or over a solid dress.
