The Perfect Party Dress!

Every Holiday season I put together a post with a selection of Holiday party dresses to shop. That post is published in early November to give everyone time to shop for the holiday parties they’ll be attending. This year I will do that holiday dress post as planned BUT I’ve stumbled across a dress that I simply can’t wait until November to share. This dress is so pretty. It’s a combination of the perfect length, material and design. Rockin’ Neon in Real Life (oopsy I forgot to mention)

How could I forget to mention this easy to wear neon tip.  It’s great for the ‘new to neon’ lovers and is a great way to wear neon and tone it down at the same time. Layering your neon under a neutral cutout is a perfect way to rock the neon look without stepping too far out of your comfort zone 🙂 Here is an example of  a lace dress with lime neon lining, available at Topshop($96)

Loving Lace

Lace is such a feminine and flirty detail on clothing . You don’t  have to be super girly to rock the lace look though, it works as long as you don’t go crazy with it. The key is to wear only 1 wardrobe piece covered in lace or you can end up looking like a doilie. I also prefer to stick to solid accessories when wearing lace, I like the lace to be the main focus as I would with a printed dress. Here are some lace looks you can try.
