The last leg of fashion months is finally coming to an end with the closing shows at Paris Fashion week. Parisian fashion houses are typically my favorite as is paris Fashion week, and this year the SS15 collections were amazing as usual. Below are some of my favorite collections. Until next time………

Oooooooh Lordie where do I begin with this collection? Elie Saab designs some of the most remarkable pieces in fashion, every season year after year!!!!! Known for his amazing embroideries and appliqués, the designer’s Fall collection did not disappoint! So many glorious looks cascaded down the runway and will without a doubt be seen a many red carpets in the future. The rich color palette included emerald, burgundy and dusty rose. With no shortage of sparkle and sexy, this is my favorite collection featured at paris fashion week! Bravo Elie Saab!
Paris fashion week is coming to an end and the shows are getting ridiculous- ridiculously GOOD! The Valentino Fall collection was a prime example. From florals, to fringe to traditional Valentino red, this collection was beautiful.
Hey there lovelies……I’ve been so wrapped up in Paris fashion week!!! It’s half over and it has been just as amazing as I anticipated it would be! The collections are beautiful, edgy and everything in between! Here is a roundup of some of my favorite runway moments and looks thus far!
Metallic, shimmer, silk and lame’ at the Lanvin show. Very rock ‘n roll!
Sexy glam and plenty of chain detail, bomber jackets, quilted leather, tweed and denim at the Balmain show, very reminiscent of 90’s Chanel.
Feminine silhouettes, leather, ruffles and lace at the Isabel Marant show.
With her dad watching from the front row, Stella McCartney presented her Fall/Winter 2013 collection today in Paris! She didn’t stray too far from her sporty chic aesthetic! The collection had somewhat of a tailored menswear feel to it including oversized coats, tailored pieces, plaids and stripes. I was not feeling the clunky shoes but overall I liked the fun and funky collection!
Alexander Wang owned his new creative director role at Balenciaga as he presented his highly anticipated debut collection for the French fashion house today in Paris. Wang played it somewhat safe as he paid homage to the label by “going back to the archive”( a sign of respect among fashion’s elite). The very wearable collection had some of the usual Wang street vibe to it but was very graceful and chic- So Balenciaga! Wang incorporated his own special touches of texture and some marble prints into the mostly black and white palette. The highlight for me was the shoes. I particularly loved the “T” strap and “V” strap heels!
This collection silenced many nay sayers and left the supporters hungry for more, which is exactly what a young designer strives for! Bravo Mr. Wang! Cheers to a job well done!
