The Manolo Blahnik Hangisi satin pumps (pictured above) are a staple in the fashion world. You may recognize them as the shoes Carrie Bradshaw often wore on sex and the city. They are made of  satin with a bejeweled square on the toe and they come with a hefty $1,000 price tag.

Trending Now: Lace Up Flats.

The latest IT shoe that has taken over all of your favorite bloggers Instagrams and countless magazine pages is a new take on a traditional silhouette. These are not your average ballet flats. First Spotted on the runway at fashion week and now seen just about everywhere, The pointy lace up flat is the shoe of the Summer and will be even hotter throughout Fall & Winter. The flat design keeps the shoes comfy and practical while the lace up detail adds just enough “sexy” to elevate the shoe to an entirely new level without being over the top.

CALLING ALL BRIDES TO BE>>>> Wedding season is right around the corner and if you’re a bride to be, you may already know that searching for the right wedding heel can be a daunting task.  I have been asked numerous times about my wedding heels so I thought I’d share them with you and a few more styles that I love- all under $100.  My 4th wedding anniversary is fast approaching and I still remember the last-minute STRESS of finding the right heel. That all ended when I stumbled upon this picture on Pinterest! nina  I had to have these heels!  After searching I found out they were by Nina shoes. SJP’s Shoe Line is Finally HERE!!!!!

Super Cute Mouse Flats!

Whenever I post a pic of my super cute Marc by Marc Jacobs mouse flats, I get flooded with questions about them and where to buy them.  My particular pair was a limited edition from a few years ago but there are similar nude colors as well as other colors and textures- some are even studded. Below is a nude pair that is very close to the camel color I have.  I also linked a black pair because you can never go wrong with black.

DIY- Scuff Removal (2 simple steps)

Good afternoon!  I thought I’d share my scuff removal tips with you all as I clean my heels up after a night out.  I try to clean my heels after each wear, keeping them beautiful for many years!  It’s also much easier to maintain them with a quick wipe down and scuff removal than to let it build up. I’ve always been able to clean my leather shoes pretty easily but had such a hard time with patent leather until one day it somehow popped in my head to try nail polish remover on a big red scuff and IT WORKED!  Since then I’ve wiped away dozens of scuffs successfully!

What you’ll need:

*nail polish remover

*1, maybe 2 Q-tips (cotton swabs)

* 2 minutes of your time

 

Once you have your Q-tips and nail polish remover, you simply dip the Q-tip into the nail polish remover and gently wipe over the scuff in a back and forth motion until it disappears! Once the scuff is removed, flip the Q-tip around and use the dry side to wipe off any access nail polish remover. It’s that easy! and YES this removes those unsightly red Louboutin scuffs! I have used this method on leather and patent leather and have found that it works especially well on patent leather because the surface is so slick.  I have NOT tried it on suede because quite frankly I’m scared that it would smear the stain rather than remove it.  I hope this helps you all next time you have a shoe in need of scuff removal!

PFW Stella McCartney F/W 2013!

With her dad watching from the front row, Stella McCartney presented her Fall/Winter 2013 collection today in Paris!  She didn’t stray too far from her sporty chic aesthetic! The collection had somewhat of a tailored menswear feel to it including oversized coats, tailored pieces, plaids and stripes.  I was not feeling the clunky shoes but overall I liked the fun and funky collection!
