Pretty Pink Pout!

Every Spring I get so excited to wear pretty pink lipsticks. I wear pink lip color year round, but during the warmer months I go with lighter, more rose toned pinks. I have 2 new favorites to share with you that I’ve been wearing non stop.

The first color is a light dusty rose powder matte by Maybelline called ‘Nocturnal Rose’. Although it’s matte, it’s not the typical drying formula.  This is the color that I’m wearing in my latest Instagram post.  $8 Shop HERE.

The second color is medium warm pink by Bobbi Brown called ‘Bitten’.  It has the look of lipstick, but the feel of a lip balm. $29 Shop HERE.

Lancome’s Latest Collaboration Lives Up To The Hype!

Paris fashion house Lanvin’s creative director Alber Elbaz has teamed up with lancome on a 9 piece collection that’s all about the eyes!  When this collaboration was announced earlier this year, makeup lovers went into a panic of sorts, just waiting to get their hands on the collection!  Months later, I’ve been able to try  these products and let me just say that they live up to the hype, namely the 4 eyeshadow palettes.  These palettes have such pretty hues and the color payoff is amazingly, pigment for days!  My favorite is the mint Jolie( a palette of gorgeous greens).  Also in the collection are false lashes and mascara as well.  The great news is the colors are here to stay although the special edition packaging is not, so if you’re a package junky, you may want to get your hands on this collection ASAP. Dream Ring….

Let me start by saying this is a “dream” ring……I’ve lusted after this ring for a while now and finally saw it in person…..WOW! Fireworks!  Amazing! Beautiful!  NO I did not buy it, it’s over $6,000 after taxes!  The only rings I own that have that many zeros in the price are on my left ring finger (with the exception of some eternity bands)!  However if I did have an extra $6,000+ bucks lying around to shell out on a “fun” ring, I would snatch this beauty up in a heartbeat!  If you’re looking to really treat yourself and can afford it, this ring is for you! It is so unique, dainty and sparkly!

Alexander Wang Rocco Bag Review!

Hey guys, I hope you’re doing amazing today. As you all know I did a post on the Alexander Wang Rocco bag with rose gold hardware in early October……I must admit, I  quickly became obsessed!!!!  I ended up caving after about 2 weeks (the fastest I have caved for any handbag) and treated myself to the bag.  Needless to say I LOVE IT and have been wanting to do a review on it and have gotten quite a few requests to do so as well….soooooo today while shooting some pictures for my OOTD on Instagram I took a couple extra shots of the bag to share with you and wanted to talk about a couple of things that I’ve noticed are missing from a lot of other Rocco reviews.

*The bag is beautiful OBVIOUSLY!  * I love the top handles in addition to a shoulder strap although it’s NOT long enough for cross body wear.  * I love the pebbled leather  * I love love love the rose gold hardware, matches a lot of my jewelry, namely my wedding set:) * the rose gold is a very nice tone, not the overpowering ultra cheesy pink shade that some rose gold hardware can have. * heavy-duty and very well made bag* the trademark studded bottom is very cool without being too crazy * the bag has the feel of the LV Speedy with a little more edge

NOW onto the 2 most important points…

1.CON: This bag is HEAVY! I’m talking 4 pounds!!!! EMPTY!  I personally don’t mind it but I know some of you might.

2. PRO: This bag has 2 “secret” pockets outside of the bag……I use one for keys, one for phone & lipstick. I like accessing my phone, keys etc without having to dig around the bottom of the bag.

There you have it…..overall my only con is the weight of the bag, everything else wonderful!!!!!! If you’re on the fence about this bag…..I say go for it!  It will be in your collection for decades to come!
