All Things Wedding! (Part 1)

Brides to be and fairytale fans alike, this two part post is for you.  Last year as I planned my Summer wedding I quickly noticed I kept returning to images…… images of anything to do with weddings. People would suggest articles and advice columns to help but I already knew what I wanted, I just needed more ideas.  These ideas for me were in the form of pictures, I would surf the web day and night looking at wedding stuff and eventually it helped me when I decided on a dress,  cake, bouquets , hairstyle and shoes.  If you read my ‘with this bling’ post,  you know that even my wedding ring was inspired from a picture of a Neil Lane stunner that I came across while online. Hopefully this post of only pictures will give you ideas for your wedding or at least get you in the wedding mood!  Cheers.

Coach Goes Back To Basics

Coach has returned to its roots with their highly anticipated fall 2012 Legacy Collection .   Complete with tassels and turn locks the timeless collection is retro inspired from the coach archives, revamped with modern touches.  The (Nearly logo free) collection includes everything from shoes to trenches to wallets and handbags.  The handbags vary from slouchy to structured and come in every color  and silhouette imaginable.   Last year Coach reissued some classic bags and they were a huge success!  If that’s any hint, this collection should be flying off the shelves in no time!  I think going back to the type of bags that originally landed them with a huge fan base is the best thing Coach could have ever done, they really went a little “C” crazy for a while there didn’t they?  The collection is currently available online and has begun trickling into stores. The complete collection will be available in stores August 1st. Prices range from $50-$1,000 with handbags starting at $178. Shop online now at Coach.

Floral Jeans

As the proud new owner of floral jeans I wanted to do a post that would inspire you to get a pair as well.  I did have floral jeans as a kid but this is my first pair in my adulthood.  Floral is so fun and they come in many color combos from grey to brights to colorful pastels, it’s up to you.  I purchased a grey Current/Elliott pair(#4 below), yes I was bold enough for the print but not bold enough for color…..baby steps!  I wore mine with a white v neck and pink sandals and plan to wear them into Fall with bold blues and blacks.  As far as shoes, they look great with sandals, flats, wedges and heels! When wearing floral jeans, my only advice is to pair them with solid pieces so that the jeans are on a stage of their own.  Below are some ideas on how to wear them and also some pairs to shop. Nautical Navy

I have always loved nautical inspired clothes. I’m a huge fan of navy in any form. I recently have been wearing navy & white ensembles and accessorizing with Browns, SO CUTE and chic. Red can also be cute to accessorize with but can look costumey if you’re not careful. These cute looks accessorized with browns will have you sailing through summer in style (and well into fall)

Rockin’ Neon in Real Life (oopsy I forgot to mention)

How could I forget to mention this easy to wear neon tip.  It’s great for the ‘new to neon’ lovers and is a great way to wear neon and tone it down at the same time. Layering your neon under a neutral cutout is a perfect way to rock the neon look without stepping too far out of your comfort zone 🙂 Here is an example of  a lace dress with lime neon lining, available at Topshop($96)
