NYFW is less than 48 hours away and the parties have already begun!!!!! There are always so many great fashion moments at NYFW and the latest news is that models on Rebecca Minkoff’s New York Fashion Week runway will be strutting their stuff to the live music of Janelle Monae. Monae will sing at Friday’s show at Lincoln Center where Minkoff will be showing her collection for next Spring. There will be a live stream of the show Friday at 3 p.m. EDT. Happy 1st of September everybody!!!!!! September, for most fashionistas is synonymous with Fall fashion!!!!!!! I get so excited when September rolls around every year (although I live in Sunny southern California and it’s usually STILL Summer weather around this time) There are SO many fabulous Fall trends that I can’t wait to rock!! I will be sharing them all with you in my Fall trends series starting today with POP- pop of print! You all have heard me talk about how much I love a POC- pop of color in an outfit, well I also love a pop of print!!!!! In the fall, I especially love a pop of animal print rrrrrrrrrrrrrr! I am an animal print lover but I never over do it, there is a thin line between chic and TACKY, so don’t go too crazy with it.
*If you prefer more animal print, like a dress or a jacket, try to go solid on everything else to keep the balance in your look!

Where do I begin? Last night’s MTV Music Awards fashion was all over the place! Many looks were age inappropriate, venue inappropriate, crazy, or all of those things rolled into one! I did however manage to find a few looks that I liked!

Hello hello! I’m here with a VERY exciting look for less!!!!! I have found a pair of heels that look almost identical to the fuchsia Valentino Rockstud pumps! A little birdie named Emily who writes The Sweetest Thing turned me on to these pretty pumps! I saw them on her and assumed they were Valentino Rockstuds because quite frankly-they looked just like them……turns out they are from Torrid- the store for full-figured fashionistas! I didn’t even know they sold shoes! After finding out the scoop on these, I quickly checked online only to find that had size 10 and Up:( So I called my local Torrid store and they had more sizes!!!!!!!!! I just had to share this with you all!!!!! Good luck finding your own pair!

Whether you would never spend a thousand bucks on heels or totally would and just want to test out the studded Torrid heels to see if you may want the Valentino’s later, these shoes are for you!!!!!
The Torrid version is a shorter heel but at this price who the heck cares!???!!!!! and furthermore, even if I only get 3 wears out of these bad boys, that’s good enough for me!!!!
P.S. while I was at Torrid, I noticed they had the cutest bracelets although they were way too big for my wrist, but SPREAD the word to your full-figured friends, if they have a hard time finding bracelets that actually fit, they need to try Torrid!

The title says it all, Miss Aniston stepped out in something other than black recently at the London premier of her latest movie, we’re the Millers. The navy floral frock is very different from what she normally wears and although it is very “young” there’s something about it that I like. Perhaps I’m just happy to see her spreading her fashion wings and with that body, she can pull almost anything off!
