Cute Dress! (under $15)

How cute is this dress for Spring/Summer?! I had this as one of my picks for my upcoming Fabulous Friday Finds, but I could NOT wait 4 more days to show you this! I’m still a bit mint obsessed  and we all know mint looks great on all skin tones. New to mint? now is the time to try it, the price point couldn’t get better. Go ahead….you know you wanna:)  Kudos to the stylist on this shoot for choosing the brown accessories, Slam dunk on the color wheel!  So complimentary with the mint & white:)  All I would add is a stack of bangles and a wrap watch, but that’s just me. Rockin’ Neon in Real Life (oopsy I forgot to mention)

How could I forget to mention this easy to wear neon tip.  It’s great for the ‘new to neon’ lovers and is a great way to wear neon and tone it down at the same time. Rockin’ Neon in Real Life

The neon trend is pretty much the only S/S trend that a LOT of people aren’t fully embracing and understandably so. It’s quite a risk and can easily be a disaster if not done right. I promise neon is wearable in real life. Whether you are new to neon or rocked it throughout the 80’s there are looks that’ll work for you.  Accessories for starters: you can add a neon shoe, belt or clutch to your otherwise simple outfit.  A bright watch is also a great way to incorporate neon into your look.  For neon lovers you can go head to toe in a neon dress while keeping your accessories simple. L.K. Bennett expanding in U.S.

L.K. Bennett opened a store in NYC  this week. It’s kind of a big deal.  The first ever U.S. store opened on Chicago’s Madison Avenue last Spring and they’ve been popping up ever since, so far  there are  five other shops around the country but this NYC debut is really going to turn the fashion house into a household name. Until last year many Americans never even heard of L.K. Bennett , but that’s changing fast!  Founded in London in 1990, L.K. Bennett is a luxury women’s fashion brand offering ready to wear, handbags, and accessories but is renowned for its signature sexy yet sophisticated shoe collections and has been an insider  favorite of the British Royals for years. Kate Middleton shot the brand to stardom when she wore their wedges the day after her wedding and has been photographed hundreds of times in the nude “sledge”pump she made famous.  The S/S 2012 collection is my favorite so far, Below are some images of my favorite styles. Prices range from $150-$600 available at select Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom and L.K. The Tribe has Spoken

Tribal prints are making their way off the runway and out of  Dept. store shelves onto the streets. From African to Aztec and South American Ikat prints, the world’s most exotic destinations are just a shopping trip away. Tribal prints add a fun & funky twist to any outfit. They can be worn with solids and neutrals if you want to keep it tame or you can get wild by mixing with other tribal printed pieces and adding colorful jewelry, It’s up you. I thought this list would be easy to compile, but it took some thinking, thinking about rainy days, work, sunshine, date night, baby showers, drinks with the girls,running errands and daily life as a whole. If I had to throw away ALL but 10 shoes (tearing up just thinking about it) these would be the 10 I would have to KEEP! Here we go….

Don’t be afraid of public nudity! Wearing nudes and Beiges is a great way to wear a neutral other than white. I love wearing nude with black heels and accessories. Nudes can also be worn with bright accessories like teals and pinks. If your more of a safe dressed gal, you can opt for the monochromatic look of head to toe nude with neutral accessories, it  looks really pretty. As far as nude heels, if you follow this blog you know they are a STAPLE in my wardrobe and I love all nude heels! Jennifer Lawrence is Bringin’ the Style

Everyone is sooooooo excited about the Hunger Games recent Box office takeover, but I can’t help being excited about Jennifer Lawrence’s red carpet glamour!  (The movie was excellent by the way.) The 21 year old’s style evolution is off to a very good start if I do say so myself. Here are some pictures of her all glammed up, starting with the first time I had ever seen her  mastering understated elegance in that simple yet sexy red dress on the Oscar red carpet.
