Rumors and pictures have been swirling around the web for a week or so of Lady Gaga in a pretty pale purple Versace dress. The picture is gorgeous and the rumors are true. The Versace camp confirmed that the 27 year mega star is the face of their Spring 2014 ad campaign. The pictures released so far reveal a fresh-faced lady gaga with long blonde hair- a look very reminiscent of a young Donatella Versace. The ads will begin appearing in magazines in January of next year.
In real life 24-year-old model, Jennie Runk is average sized, but in the modeling world, she’s considered plus sized. The 5’10” size 12/14 beauty is the star of H&M’s Summer swimwear campaign- the first for a plus sized model. H&M does have a plus sized collection and uses plus sized models but they have never gone into bathing suit territory with anybody larger than a size 6. Turns out- people like it and they like it a lot!!!! There has been a positive outpouring of support in regards to this latest campaign and that’s a step in the right direction as far as I’m concerned. Beyonce is the new face of H&M’s Summer campaign. As if she’s not busy enough, the superstar working mom not only shot the campaign in the Bahamas this past January, but she helped design the collection that accompanies it. The campaign will consist of print ads and a commercial to air in May and H&M will be donating 25% of the sales of the collection to the charity H&M for water.
Here are some very feminine looks from the Prabal Gurung for Target collection. Actors Olivia Thirlby and Chris Conroy will star in the ad campaign as a lovey dovey couple, aaaaaaawwww! On Sunday Thirlby, Conroy and Gurung were spotted in the west Village shooting the upcoming campaign. Collection launches November 10th.
Hot off the tail of her H&M Fall ad campaign, Lana Del Rey and Jaguar are in cahoots. Not only did the “Born to Die” singer help the automaker launch its new F-Type coupe in Paris, she is also featured in the Jaguar’s newly released commercial introducing the all-new sports car. The Jaguar F-Type was unveiled earlier this week to a VIP audience at Musée Rodin, Paris. Del Rey also performed her new track “Burning Desire” at the launch party.
British model Georgia May Jagger has inked a deal to become the face of Just Cavalli’s newest fragrance which will debut in February 2013. The 20-year-old daughter of Rolling Stones rocker Mick Jagger and model Jerry Hall is known for her gapped tooth smile, full lips and gorgeous mane. Jagger isn’t new to modeling, she has starred in campaigns for Hudson, Madonna’s Material girl line, H&M and is a Rimmel London girl alongside Kate Moss but this Just Cavalli campaign will be her first ever fragrance ad.
