London fashion week had some pretty amazing handbags paraded down the runways…….here are some of my favorites.
Burberry, Moschino, House of Holland, Mulberry (my fav) and more…..
I love pastels and adore wearing light and fun colors all Spring and Summer long. This past Spring/Summer was no different I wore pastels like crazy but I wore the hell out of MINT!!!!!!! I LOVE ALL THINGS MINT! I really had a love affair with the robin’s egg hue! Now that Summer is coming to an end…..I am sad to say goodbye to my beloved mint pieces as I move on and embrace my “darker” side for Fall/Winter. I’m not saying I’ll be totally mintless…..there are days where I will wear it I’m sure……….but I won’t be wearing mint whenever possible like I have for the last 6 months.
Mint…..I will always love you and perhaps next Spring we will pick up where we left off.

Every once in a handbag comes around that represents timeless luxury, a bag that women drool over. This time it’s the Heroine bag by Alexander McQueen. The feminine, yet sculptured top handled design comes in various leathers and sizes. Think of it as a stylish satchel meets Doctors bag, perfect for many years of wear. If you’d like a Heroine bag of your own, buckle up they do come with a hefty four figure price tag, but what ‘it’ bag doesn’t?
Shop the Heroine bag HERE.
Additional thoughts…….. Does this bag have the ‘it’ factor? Absolutely! My favorite part of this bag is the beautiful shape and the flap in front. My least favorite part of this bag….the flap in front…which makes the contents of the bag impossible to access when it’s on your arm. A bit impractical a la Hermès Birkin, beautiful nonetheless.

Street Style Tip: The sidewalk is your runway, treat it as such!
Dare: I dare you to wear a color you’ve never worn before ….Pink, purple, red, neon, orange, green etc! Scared of color or on a budget? Nail polish totally counts!
Below are images that represent Summertime fashion at its best…..tons of color, neon, different textures, comfort, great prints, denim, just enough skin exposed, great accessories and confidence!!!!!!

The Fendi baguette is arguably the first “it” bag.
The bag was the creation of the Italian fashion house in 1997 and was designed to be carried under the arm like a french loaf of bread, hence the name baguette. This iconic bag was created in over 1,000 styles ranging from beaded to bright and everything in between. Time to dust off your baguettes ladies, I smell a major comeback!
The Fendi Baguette book ($73.52) celebrates the 15 year anniversary of the coveted bag , following it’s journey from the 90’s to now. Along with the book, Fendi will be reissuing 6 select baguettes in honor of the occasion. see below. Shop baguettes at Fendi.
Sarah Jessica Parker helped launch the baguette into super stardom in sex and the city.
Remember when a mugger stole Carrie’s bag nearly 15 years ago?
