Latest H&M Designer Collab!!!!!

Exciting news on the fashion front!!!!!! H&M has announced an upcoming collaboration with Isabel Marant. The French designer, known for her rocker meets bohemian chic aesthetic is the latest high-end designer to work with H&M on a capsule collection! Marant’s collection will include womenswear and (for the first time in her career) menswear.  The collection is set to launch online and in select H&M stores worldwide November 14. If you know and love Isabel Marant, I know you’re shaking in your boots about this collab!  If the name sounds familiar- you have seen her creations and knockoffs of her creations EVERYWHERE!  Does the hidden wedge trainer or studded Milwaukee bootie ring a bell?  The always innovative designer will be sure to fulfill your fashion fix at prices within your grasp! Mark your calendars! This collection will sell out!

Look For Less! Summer Cross Body bag!

Bright cross body bags are absolutely perfect for Summer! They add a pop of color to your outfits and most importantly are hands free and can be worn while bike riding, shopping and roller skating!  The two bags below are stylish and sassy and can be worn for many Summers to come! Rebecca Minkoff’s Skylar bag retails for $325 and is available at Nordstrom, but if you’re on a budget, H&M has an affordable alternative for only $14.95.  I bought the H&M studded bag and LOVE IT!

H&M Campaign Starring Plus Sized Model!

In real life 24-year-old model, Jennie Runk is average sized, but in the modeling world, she’s considered plus sized.  The 5’10”  size 12/14 beauty is the star of H&M’s Summer swimwear campaign- the first for a plus sized model.  H&M does have a plus sized collection and uses plus sized models but they have never gone into bathing suit territory with anybody larger than a size 6.  Turns out- people like it and they like it a lot!!!! There has been a positive outpouring of support in regards to this latest campaign and that’s a step in the right direction as far as I’m concerned.  Women come in all shapes sizes and it’s great seeing representation for all of us.
