New Affordable Eyebrow Kit!

Hi everyone, as you know I’m a bit obsessed with brows and brow kits.  I prefer wax and powder kits over eye pencils because they fill in brows perfectly without looking drawn on or fake. My favorite brow kit thus far is by NYC and comes in 2 shades, but now NYX has a kit of their own that comes in 6 shades!!!! Leaving no brow lover behind!   The NYC kit has been good to me, but I will definitely be using the NYX kit as well. If you’ve only tried pencils, I suggest you try a powder and wax kit and at these prices it’s worth it!

NYC Brow kit. $4  This kit is only $4 but only comes in 2 shades and the shades are a single color and wax. If you’re on a super tight budget and happen to match these colors, this kit is for you.

NYX cake powder kit. $6  This kit comes in 6 shades and the shades are a set of two blendable colors (so you can find your perfect match) as well as wax!  If you can spare $6 and want to find your EXACT match, this kit is for you.

Derek Lam For Kohl’s

If it’s been too long since the Prabal/Target designer collab and you’re looking for affordable designer duds, don’t you fret… there is collab right around the corner.  On April 5, the Derek Lam for Kohl’s will be available online and in stores.  This is the second  in a series of collaborations for Kohl’s called DesignNation- where each featured designer presents a collection inspired by their travels.  Lam took  inspiration for this collection from the jungles and sandy beaches of Rio De Janeiro which comes across in the fun prints and easy breezy vibe of the pieces. The wallet friendly collection is priced at $36-$88 and includes dresses, skirts and even swimwear- a first for the designer.  Below are some of my favorites. Shop the collection HERE.

Zoya Launches Pixie Dust Summer 2013 Collection!

Zoya- the nail polish brand known for their unique colors and textures has launched their Pixie Dust Summer 2013 collection which includes six brand new colors to the already popular lineup.  Zoya Summer Pixie Dust polishes are quite unique… they have plenty of sparkle while having a sugary matte finish. The collection is available now for preorder at Zoya. The full-sized bottles retail for $9 or you can get the entire collection in sampler sizes for $54 per set.

Fabulous Friday Finds! ( all under $20)

Beyonce The New Face of H&M

Beyonce is the new face of H&M’s Summer campaign.  As if she’s not busy enough, the superstar working mom not only shot the campaign in the Bahamas this past January, but she helped design the collection that accompanies it.  The campaign will consist of print ads and a commercial to air in May and H&M will be donating 25% of the sales of the collection to the charity H&M for water.

Giles & Brother JewelMint Collaboration!

Earlier this week the highly anticipated Giles & Brother JewelMint accessories collaboration launched.  The 10 piece capsule collection marks the first of many JewelMint designer collaborations  dubbed the Studio Series that will bring designers to a broader audience via the members only Jewelmint website.  Jewlery Designer and goldsmith Philip Crangi along with his sister Courtney aka Giles head up the accessory company Giles & Brother and have a strong following of fashion forward fans. Crangi didn’t stray too far from his usual unique, industrial aesthetic although there was an obvious tribal and equestrian feel to most of the collection.  Typically, G&B pieces can cost upwards of $500 so at this $29.99-$90 price range, G&B  fans will be snatching up this collection real quick in addition to throngs of newly introduced fans through Jewlmint! Fabulous Bracelet Under $13!

I snatched up this hinged kissing jaguar bracelet last week at a LA Forever21 store and wanted to share it on my fabulous Friday finds, but it wasn’t online as of  last Friday:(  Well it’s online now and I’m not going to wait  until next Friday to share it because it’s way too cute and it just might be sold out if I do!  I have worn this bracelet  in a stack and today I wore it alone- it looked great both ways.  Available in black and Ivory at Forever21. $12.80 Get yours HERE!  Let me add that this bracelet is very well made and looks great in person.
