I’m back with an OOTD for ya’ll! I know you guys have been asking for more, so I’m trying to do more.  This was my comfy outfit that I wore to the Diane von Furstenberg exhibit this weekend. I knew I needed to wear flat boots because of all the walking I was planning on doing- I originally had a heel picked out but the flats worked out perfect! Diane von Furstenberg ‘Journey Of A Dress’ Exhibit!

This weekend marked a very special occasion in the fashion world. The iconic wrap dress created by Diane von Furstenberg celebrated its 40th anniversary! Furstenberg created the first dress with NO buttons or zippers and a very flattering fit as well, which has become a staple in women’s wardrobes around the world. I have and will always say that a woman’s best friend is a wrap dress! The ‘Journey of a dress’ exhibit -which opened to the public this weekend- pays homage to the designer and the dress that changed everything! The exhibit includes 200 mannequins clad in vintage and contemporary takes of the wrap dress. If you love DVF or fashion in general, you will love this exhibit!

“Journey of a Dress,”  runs from Jan. 11 to April 1.

10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, Tuesday and Thursday; 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free!!!!!

Fabulous Friday Find!

I’m pretty crazy about knit sweaters, and especially love light/thin sweaters because I get hot so easily. This will be a great addition to any wardrobe!

Falling For These Flats!

How cute are these flats??!!!!! I saw them on Lulus.com and had to have them! They were only $23 which made it even sweeter, but as I clicked to buy them- SOLD OUT appeared on my computer screen. Noooooooooo! I was so sad. I quickly noted the brand and style name and began my hunt. I found them at Shiekh for even less- $19.99. Never give up ladies! Never give up!

Color Of The Year!!!!

Every year Pantone also known as the authority on color announces the “color of the year” and this year it’s a lovely purplish/fuschia hue they call Radiant Orchid.

As with any trend, a great way to get involved is to start with makeup.  Everyone can afford a lipstick or a nail polish and it’s not as risky as wearing a dress or a coat in that hue if you’re not that into color. Below are some fun makeup products to shop that will get you right into this trend!
