I live in sunny California so full Fall clothes in September are a no- go, But now that it’s October, the weather is slightly cooling allowing for a few more layers. Back in April I wrote a post about my new favorite faux leather fringe bag that I scored for $24.99 from Target. I still wear it and love it, it’s a creamy color that matches everything and I can beat it up without worrying. The good news is they still have it at target and they have added a new color, beige. In addition to this beige color they have added a new fringe bag in a beautiful blue suede like material for $29.99. Perfect bag meets a perfect price!!!!!!
I love pastels and adore wearing light and fun colors all Spring and Summer long. This past Spring/Summer was no different I wore pastels like crazy but I wore the hell out of MINT!!!!!!! I LOVE ALL THINGS MINT! I really had a love affair with the robin’s egg hue! Now that Summer is coming to an end…..I am sad to say goodbye to my beloved mint pieces as I move on and embrace my “darker” side for Fall/Winter. I’m not saying I’ll be totally mintless…..there are days where I will wear it I’m sure……….but I won’t be wearing mint whenever possible like I have for the last 6 months.
Mint…..I will always love you and perhaps next Spring we will pick up where we left off.

Additional thoughts…….. Does this bag have the ‘it’ factor? Absolutely! My favorite part of this bag is the beautiful shape and the flap in front. My least favorite part of this bag….the flap in front…which makes the contents of the bag impossible to access when it’s on your arm. A bit impractical a la Hermès Birkin, beautiful nonetheless.
Coach has returned to its roots with their highly anticipated fall 2012 Legacy Collection . Complete with tassels and turn locks the timeless collection is retro inspired from the coach archives, revamped with modern touches. The (Nearly logo free) collection includes everything from shoes to trenches to wallets and handbags. The handbags vary from slouchy to structured and come in every color and silhouette imaginable. Last year Coach reissued some classic bags and they were a huge success! If that’s any hint, this collection should be flying off the shelves in no time! I think going back to the type of bags that originally landed them with a huge fan base is the best thing Coach could have ever done, they really went a little “C” crazy for a while there didn’t they? The collection is currently available online and has begun trickling into stores. The complete collection will be available in stores August 1st. Olivia Wilde has teamed up with Alternative Apparel with a goal in mind. She wanted to raise money for her favorite charity, the Academy for Peace and Justine, a school in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Wilde has designed a rugged leather trimmed army green convertible canvas bag that converts from backpack to cross body messenger in a snap. The Fendi baguette is arguably the first “it” bag.
