YAY!  Stylist Kate Young brings her stylish perspective  to the masses with this fresh, modern collection filled with mostly special occasion dresses and separates  along with accessories. Derek Lam For Kohl’s

If it’s been too long since the Prabal/Target designer collab and you’re looking for affordable designer duds, don’t you fret… there is collab right around the corner.  On April 5, the Derek Lam for Kohl’s will be available online and in stores.  This is the second  in a series of collaborations for Kohl’s called DesignNation- where each featured designer presents a collection inspired by their travels.  Lam took  inspiration for this collection from the jungles and sandy beaches of Rio De Janeiro which comes across in the fun prints and easy breezy vibe of the pieces. The wallet friendly collection is priced at $36-$88 and includes dresses, skirts and even swimwear- a first for the designer.  Below are some of my favorites. Shop the collection HERE.

Beyonce The New Face of H&M

Beyonce is the new face of H&M’s Summer campaign.  As if she’s not busy enough, the superstar working mom not only shot the campaign in the Bahamas this past January, but she helped design the collection that accompanies it.  The campaign will consist of print ads and a commercial to air in May and H&M will be donating 25% of the sales of the collection to the charity H&M for water.

Metallic pumps were everywhere during “fashion month”, mostly the pointed closed toe version which is universally flattering!  I’ve always been a fan of metallic hued heels especially during the Holiday season but now I’m all for spicing up my wardrobe with these glitzy heels year round!  Why not???  They’re great for Spring and totally work with anything, from colors to prints to neutrals.
