Milan Fashion Week! Gucci F/W’14!
19 FebMilan Fashion Week has kicked off with a bang and the Gucci Fall/Winter 2014 collection has set the bar pretty high! Frida Giannini definitely brought it!!!!!! She channeled the “good ol’ Gucci” days with a 60’s/70’s inspired collection that included mod minis and boots galore! There was no lack of pretty pastels and the sharp tailoring we have come to expect from the Italian design house!! I really love this collection!

NYFW DKNY F/W’14!
10 FebFun fun fun over at DKNY! Of the 55 looks sent down the runway, over half were worn by real New Yorkers including local artists, DJ’s and skateboarders! How cool is that?! I loved this street chic collection! How about that blue houndstooth?!

10 FebAnother designer cosmetics collaboration is in the works people!!!! NARS and Phillip Lim have a 9 piece nail lacquer collection that will be available in August! The news was announced today at Lim’s Fall 2014 fashion show.
In other makeup news, the highly anticipated MAC Proenza Schouler makeup collection will hit stores in April. The collection includes face powder, eyeliner,nail lacquer, lipstick and more! You may want to get your hands on this quick, the collection is a limited!
NYFW Monique Lhuillier F/W’14!
9 FebWOW!!! Monique Lhuillier has done it AGAIN! I can’t even express how gorgeous this collection is! The ready to wear collection is full of lace overlays and beautiful textures. Known for her beadwork, the intricate details are craftsmanship at its best! There were so many silhouettes as well, I just can’t take it!!!! I’m thoroughly impressed with this collection!!!!!!! This is my favorite collection thus far!
Lhuillier has definitely gone to the dark side and in a GOOD way! SKULLS!

NYFW Jason Wu F/W’14!
9 FebJason Wu brought it with this collection! The dark color palette is perfect for Fall! The Pewter, burgundy, Jet black and emerald pieces are so beautiful! The T strap pumps are great too!

NYFW Alexander Wang/ Jill Stuart F/W’14!
9 FebAlexander Wang’s main strength was definitely outerwear. The coats in this collection were nothing short of amazing. There were so many gorgeous button and pocket details! The stiff side swept hair and the “no eyebrow” look created an androgynous feel that left me wanting more.
Fanny packs again!
Jill Stuart’s collection was feminine and flirty. I couldn’t get enough of the sparkles and textures!!!!!!! The models “undone” hair and fresh faces were beautiful as well. So pretty!

6 FebNew York fashion week is here!!!!!!!! The fashion fiasco will run through February 13th and will showcase many designer 2014 Fall/Winter collections. These collections will be featured on the runway and in special presentations for buyers, editors and fashion lovers alike. I will be sharing my designer favorites as the week progresses. Today I’m sharing BCBG! I Love the emphasis on lengthy silhouettes with boots and the use of many great textures.
