8 SepDiane Von Furstenberg went heavy on her usual fun and exotic prints at today’s show! I really liked the cork prints that she used! Flattering cuts were also prominent which I always appreciate! Great collection! I’m loving all of the separates that I’m seeing at this NYFW, I usually see much more for fall collections but this is refreshing, Spring isn’t only for dresses!

7 SepPastels, brights and black & white were the main palette at the Prabal Gurung show today with an overall modern vibe and a futuristic feel! The lilac lips and cat eye sunglasses also added some flare to the show!

7 SepMonique Lhuillier presented her Spring/Summer 2014 collection this evening at New York fashion week and the color palette was SO SPRING- a sea of corals, oranges and pinks came down the runway! So many pretty pieces! I loved all the lace work and embellishments as well!

3 SepNYFW is less than 48 hours away and the parties have already begun!!!!! There are always so many great fashion moments at NYFW and the latest news is that models on Rebecca Minkoff’s New York Fashion Week runway will be strutting their stuff to the live music of Janelle Monae. Monae will sing at Friday’s show at Lincoln Center where Minkoff will be showing her collection for next Spring. There will be a live stream of the show Friday at 3 p.m. EDT. Fall Trends Part 1! Pop Of Print!
1 SepHappy 1st of September everybody!!!!!! September, for most fashionistas is synonymous with Fall fashion!!!!!!! I get so excited when September rolls around every year (although I live in Sunny southern California and it’s usually STILL Summer weather around this time) There are SO many fabulous Fall trends that I can’t wait to rock!! I will be sharing them all with you in my Fall trends series starting today with POP- pop of print! You all have heard me talk about how much I love a POC- pop of color in an outfit, well I also love a pop of print!!!!! In the fall, I especially love a pop of animal print rrrrrrrrrrrrrr! I am an animal print lover but I never over do it, there is a thin line between chic and TACKY, so don’t go too crazy with it.
