Paris Fashion Week Favorites!

Hey there lovelies……I’ve been so wrapped up in Paris fashion week!!!  It’s half over and it has been just as amazing as I anticipated it would be! The collections are beautiful, edgy and everything in between!  Here is a roundup of some of my favorite runway moments and looks thus far!

Paris Fashion Week Is HERE!!!!!!

Today is the first day of Paris fashion Week!!!!  It started in New York followed by London then Milan and now PARIS!!!!!  Fashion “month” is a series of 4 fashion weeks held in 4 different fashion capitals of the world.  It happens every year, twice a year( once to show Fall/Winter collections and again to show Spring/ Summer collections).  I love American designers so New York fashion week is always closest to my heart but I look forward mostly to Paris fashion week…… I mean we are talking about the “motherland” when it comes to fashion. Some of the most iconic fashion houses hail from France! Hello Chanel and Dior!!!!!! HUGE names with huge history will be bringing it on the runway for the next 9 days! and I am so excited!!!!!!!! I’m looking forward to so many shows, it’s bananas!!!!!  Oh the anticipation!!!!!  Fabulous fashion moments will include Alexander Wang showing his second collection for Balenciaga and Sarah Burton showing the Alexander McQueen collection on an actual runway as opposed to last year’s presentation!

Balmain, Dior, Chanel, Isabel Marant, Louis Vuitton, Celine, Chloe, Givenchy, Kenzo, Mui Mui, Valentino, Stella McCartney, Lanvin, Hermes and more!!!!! OH EM GEEEEE!  People if that’s not an amazing lineup, I don’t know what is!!!!!!

MFW!!! Dolce & Gabbana S/S’14!!!

Milan Fashion Week is coming to an end and the Dolce & Gabbana Spring/Summer 2014 collection was an AMAZING way to wrap up the week!  It was the usual flamboyant yet feminine collection that the talented design duo always brings us. Flowers, lace and intricate embellishments were everywhere…… and the golden finale was breathtaking!!! This was hands down my favorite collection from Milan fashion week!

LFW!!!! Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2014!!!!

My favorite collection from London Fashion week is the beautiful pastel and lace filled Burberry Prorsum show!!!!!  The polkas dot prints and embellishments were pretty amazing too.  It is such a feminine collection and oh so pretty!

NYFW!!!! Michael Kors S/S’14!

I love this collection!!!!! I love all the beautiful silhouettes, belts, glorious floral prints and use of dark denim.  The hair and makeup were pretty amazing and were so well executed! Michael Kors definitely brought it today! Bravo!

NYFW!!! Rachel Zoe S/S’14!

I really love this Rachel Zoe collection, she always keeps it simple yet so COOL and this show was no different!  I love how wearable everything is and this is a collection I see myself buying a LOT of! Can’t wait to get my hands on this stuff!  Zoe proved yet again that she is no longer “the rookie” in this fashion game!

NYFW!! Naeem Khan S/S’14!

Where oh where do I begin?????  The Naeem Khan show today was AMAZINGLY beautiful!  It felt like the ultimate ‘Spanish glam’ collection with the off the shoulder styles, lace work and amazing prints! There was so much embroidery and attention to detail as well. So many gorgeous gowns!!!!! OMG!  I have no more words- here are the pictures- my favorite looks which were quite hard to narrow down!  SIMPLY STUNNING!

NYFW! Diane Von Furstenberg S/S’14!

Diane Von Furstenberg went heavy on her usual fun and exotic prints at today’s show! I really liked the cork prints that she used!  Flattering cuts were also prominent which I always appreciate!  Great collection! I’m loving all of the separates that I’m seeing at this NYFW, I usually see much more for  fall collections but this is refreshing, Spring isn’t only for dresses!

NYFW! Prabal Gurung S/S’14

Pastels, brights and black & white were the main palette at the Prabal Gurung show today with an overall modern vibe and a futuristic feel!  The lilac lips and cat eye sunglasses  also added some flare to the show!
