I love these matte nails for Summer! An easy way to achieve this look is with a matte topcoat. My favorite is Sephora by OPI $9.50 available at Sephora. This matte look will be amazing with Fall colors as well, can’t wait!!!!!

5 AugIf you’re an eyeshadow lover, then this post is for you. I am an eyeshadow lover and my go-to combo would definitely be a neutral smokey eye. I’m often asked what brand I like most and there isn’t one answer, that’s for sure. After years of trying shadow after shadow I keep going back to the same brands; MAC, Urban Decay, Smashbox and NYX! Yes NYX is included on my list. NYX is a very reasonably priced makeup brand that I love and have great quality products for the price. They have excellent shadows and also sell my favorite soft matte lip cream, which is amazing!!!! All I want in an eyeshadow are great colors, incredible color payoff, long lasting wear and high pigment and these brands provide that consistently! I do use primer so that my shadow pops and because I naturally have oily lids that cause my eyeshadow to crease after only a couple hours of wear. ok back to the shadows. I am a fan of palettes because they are super fun, easy to take on the go and are almost always a better deal than buying everything separate. As a fan of the neutral smokey eye, Urban Decay’s Naked palettes are perfect…..I am especially a fan of the Naked 2 palette! I have recently discovered some other palettes worth trying and have been very happy with them as well. Here is the list starting with my favorite Naked 2.

All Things Wedding! (Part 1)
2 AugBrides to be and fairytale fans alike, this two part post is for you. Last year as I planned my Summer wedding I quickly noticed I kept returning to images…… images of anything to do with weddings. People would suggest articles and advice columns to help but I already knew what I wanted, I just needed more ideas. These ideas for me were in the form of pictures, I would surf the web day and night looking at wedding stuff and eventually it helped me when I decided on a dress, cake, bouquets , hairstyle and shoes. If you read my ‘with this bling’ post, you know that even my wedding ring was inspired from a picture of a Neil Lane stunner that I came across while online. Hopefully this post of only pictures will give you ideas for your wedding or at least get you in the wedding mood! Cheers.

Nars Launches New skin Care Line
1 AugNars cosmetics is launching a skin care line that will rival their already amazing makeup line. The line called Narsskin is a 9 product collection that is a major update of the brand’s original skin care products, including anti-aging benefits light reflecting properties and improved formulas overall.
