I love this collection!!!!! I love all the beautiful silhouettes, belts, glorious floral prints and use of dark denim. The hair and makeup were pretty amazing and were so well executed! Michael Kors definitely brought it today! Bravo!

I really love this Rachel Zoe collection, she always keeps it simple yet so COOL and this show was no different! I love how wearable everything is and this is a collection I see myself buying a LOT of! Can’t wait to get my hands on this stuff! Zoe proved yet again that she is no longer “the rookie” in this fashion game!
Where oh where do I begin????? The Naeem Khan show today was AMAZINGLY beautiful! It felt like the ultimate ‘Spanish glam’ collection with the off the shoulder styles, lace work and amazing prints! There was so much embroidery and attention to detail as well. So many gorgeous gowns!!!!! OMG! I have no more words- here are the pictures- my favorite looks which were quite hard to narrow down! SIMPLY STUNNING!
Diane Von Furstenberg went heavy on her usual fun and exotic prints at today’s show! I really liked the cork prints that she used! Flattering cuts were also prominent which I always appreciate! Great collection! I’m loving all of the separates that I’m seeing at this NYFW, I usually see much more for fall collections but this is refreshing, Spring isn’t only for dresses!

Pastels, brights and black & white were the main palette at the Prabal Gurung show today with an overall modern vibe and a futuristic feel! The lilac lips and cat eye sunglasses also added some flare to the show!
Monique Lhuillier presented her Spring/Summer 2014 collection this evening at New York fashion week and the color palette was SO SPRING- a sea of corals, oranges and pinks came down the runway! So many pretty pieces! I loved all the lace work and embellishments as well!
Rebecca Minkoff made use of many textures, bold patterns and colors in today’s show and the live performance of Janelle Monae was so COOL! The accessories were great as I expected and I loved all the separates as well! Below are some of my favorite looks from the collection!

NYFW is less than 48 hours away and the parties have already begun!!!!! There are always so many great fashion moments at NYFW and the latest news is that models on Rebecca Minkoff’s New York Fashion Week runway will be strutting their stuff to the live music of Janelle Monae. Monae will sing at Friday’s show at Lincoln Center where Minkoff will be showing her collection for next Spring. There will be a live stream of the show Friday at 3 p.m. EDT. A while back I did a post on the upcoming Marc Jacobs Beauty collection and the growing anticipation throughout the beauty industry and amongst makeup junkies alike. Well, I’m back with an update of sorts! The time has come people….in three days we can all get our hands on the entire 120 piece makeup collection that Jacobs has created and that will be sold exclusively at Sephora and select Marc Jacobs stores!!!!! Jacobs has left no stone unturned with his debut brand. There will be products for eyes, lips and face including brushes!
Last month, Jacobs gave us a glimpse of what was to come when he released a sneak peek prelaunch of five products in sleek packaging on sephora.com. Most items have since sold out and the reviews are amazing!
One product keeps coming up time and time again! I haven’t stopped hearing great things about his liquid eyeliner calligraphy style “pen” called the Magic Marc’er. Priced at $30 rumor has it, it’s worth every penny and unlike any other eyeliner on the market. The intense blacker than black formula dubbed Blaquer is waterproof, non- fading, non-transfering and provides a precise line everytime! The reviews speak for the product! Paris fashion house Lanvin’s creative director Alber Elbaz has teamed up with lancome on a 9 piece collection that’s all about the eyes! When this collaboration was announced earlier this year, makeup lovers went into a panic of sorts, just waiting to get their hands on the collection! Months later, I’ve been able to try these products and let me just say that they live up to the hype, namely the 4 eyeshadow palettes. These palettes have such pretty hues and the color payoff is amazingly, pigment for days! My favorite is the mint Jolie( a palette of gorgeous greens). Also in the collection are false lashes and mascara as well. The great news is the colors are here to stay although the special edition packaging is not, so if you’re a package junky, you may want to get your hands on this collection ASAP.
