Metallics and Stripes!

This weekend’s weather is typical for August in Los Angeles-sunny and bright. Warm weather calls for dresses around these parts, so my outfit of the day included the cutest striped dress(with pockets) and rose gold accessories. My makeup was peachy pink minimal and  my hair was up with braided detail in a low bun.  My statement necklace was balanced out with bangles on one wrist and dainty rings.

The clutch(Gap) and heels(Zara) sold out quickly but the striped dress with bow belt (Maison Jules) is available still!!!! Maison Jules is one of my favorite new lines sold at Macy’s- their parisian chic pieces are so adorable!!!! Necklace- Forever21. Rings- Catbird, Threadbare & Baguette ring. Bangles- Aldo.

Makeup Details: Face- Bare minerals Foundation. Mascara- Maybelline Clump crusher in very black. Blush- Bobbi Brown in coral. Lips- NYX Butter gloss in Creme Brûlée.

Comfortable Lace Up Caged Heels!

Lace up caged heels hit the fashion scene with a BANG last year and the hype hasn’t fizzled out. The sexy style is hotter than ever and every designer has their interpretation of the heel. What I love most about caged heels is that they can be worn with anything from boyfriend jeans to LBDs! A while back, I found a tan pair that are super sexy but they hurt my feet after about 30 minutes( I still wear them of course) BUT I recently found a pair that ARE comfortable! They are available in black, white and blush- I opted for black. I realized that they are so comfortable because the sole is padded and there is a zipper at the heel of the shoe in addition to adjustable laces on the front! With all of this adjusting available, the comfort level is amazing! Yay for cute & comfy!

Kimono Style! (Take 2)

Last Spring I wrote a Kimono Style post sharing my love for the light and airy pieces.  This year the kimono is going to be HUGE, I’ve been trying to tell the world for the last year and people are catching on! Last year’s post is getting so much traffic but most of the links are sold out since it’s been so long. Cute Sweater Alert!

Every wardrobe needs at least one mustard item, whether it be a sweater, dress, bag or a heel. Mustard is wearable year round and is complimentary to many colors. Fabulous Friday Find!

Happy Friday everyone, hopefully you had a great week 🙂 Today’s fab find is a light knit sweater that I found at H&M. It fits really cute and comes in different colors. I’m pretty crazy about knit sweaters, and especially love light/thin sweaters because I get hot so easily. This will be a great addition to any wardrobe!

Falling For These Flats!

How cute are these flats??!!!!! I saw them on Lulus.com and had to have them! They were only $23 which made it even sweeter, but as I clicked to buy them- SOLD OUT appeared on my computer screen. Noooooooooo! I was so sad. I quickly noted the brand and style name and began my hunt. I found them at Shiekh for even less- $19.99. Never give up ladies! Never give up!

All About The Bootie!

I love boots in all forms, but I am especially fond of the ankle-ish height of the “bootie”. I love how they can be worn year round and in many ways. This shorter sister to the traditional boot can be thrown over leggings, worn with shorts and dresses. Jeans can be tucked into, bunched up or rolled above them. The possibilities are endless! Fabulous Friday Finds (Cutout bracelets)

Happy Friday lovelies!!!!!!!  I hope you’re  having a great week thus far.  Today my finds(under $20 as usual) consist of cutout bracelets, my new favorite piece. Every jewelry collection should include at least one.  These bracelets are a perfect for summer!  They make a statement and are very wearable during hot months, they’re open and airy! Although I’m a serial stacker when it comes to my wrist wear, I prefer to wear these cutout bracelets alone because they have such great detail that I don’t want to be sidelined by a surrounding stack.
