Kohl’s Design Nation….First Stop Istanbul with Narciso Rodriguez

Move over Target……..Kohl’s has announced their first designer collaboration program called Design Nation with Narciso Rodriguez. The program features designers showcasing limited edition collections inspired by their travels. Rodriguez’s collection features styles inspired by a recent trip to Istanbul. The colorful, minimalistic and modern collection will debut in stores November 7th and range from $30 to $150. Next Spring following Rodriguez, Derek Lam will take over the program with a collection inspired by his trip to Brazil. YAY! Fashionistas on a budget will have so many affordable options this holiday season!

Prabal Gurung For Target!

The rumors have been swirling since Summer and the rumors are TRUE! Prabal Gurung and Target have collaborated for a collection due to hit stores February 10th! The collection will stay true to Gurung’s aesthetic of sharp tailoring and feminine silhouettes with much use of prints and graphic detail. The fashion forward masses will be able to get their hands on this over 80 piece collection just in time for the holidays. The highly anticipated collaboration will include ready to wear and accessories including shoes and bags. Prices range from $19.99 for a T-shirt to $199.99 for a leather jacket.

Rebecca Minkoff to Open Store in NYC
8 OctRebecca Minkoff will be opening a freestanding boutique in NYC. Last March the stylish designer opened a 3,000 square foot flagship store in Tokyo, but this will be the brand’s first on American soil. The soho shop will feature her amazing accessories, clothes and more and will take over the space currently occupied by Kirna Zabete as they will be moving to a larger location. The shop is set to open in next Spring. Minkettes…….. are you excited?????? Not a Minkette yet? Then check out this post I did a while back featuring her accessories that I absolutely adore!!!
Bag Crush!
3 OctI’ve always liked the Alexander Wang Rocco bag, a buttery soft bag with studs on the bottom for a little bit of edge. I first spotted the bag on Kristin Cavallari a few years back and have since seen them everywhere. I really liked how there were different color options for the studs like gold, black nickel, silver etc. I just didn’t find that it “spoke” to my heart which is a must when you’re spending a pretty penny……UNTIL NOW……I just about DIED recently when I saw this bag in person with rose gold hardware! It was speaking to me then!!!!!!!! It is a beauty for sure with just enough super shiny rose studs gold against the soft black pebbled leather and two rolled top handles and a shoulder strap make the bag versatile and easy to wear.

I live in sunny California so full Fall clothes in September are a no- go, But now that it’s October, the weather is slightly cooling allowing for a few more layers.
